Terms and Conditions
Reservations. To reserve an party installation please complete the form on the Contact page or call our office at 866-9 PARTY 7 (866-972-7897). Reservations should be made as soon as possible, installations are booked on first come first serve basis.
Short Notice. Installations reserved with less than a 7-day notice will incur a rush fee of 2.5 times the total invoice cost.
Contracts. Once a reservation has been made Star Party Balloons will send a quote followed by a contract. You will need to review, sign and return the contract. Once the contract has been received an invoice will be sent for submission of the required retainer to hold your reservation.
Payments. A non-refundable retainer of 50% of the total estimated cost of the party is required to hold the party date. We can not hold the party date without a signed contract AND required retainer. Final Payment. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the party date. Late Payments. Late payments may result in delays or cancellations of services. Once final payment has been made, there will be no refunds.
We accept the following forms of payment: debit and credit cards as well as Apple Pay, CashApp, Venmo, and Zelle using 323-880-8311.
Tax. CA State Tax is collected on all orders.
Fees for Delivery/Setup/Breakdown/Pickup. All fees will be outlined in the quote.
- Delivery fee depends on the location of the party and time of day. Minimum delivery fee is $90.
- Setup fee (also known as installation) depends on how extensive the installation is, once we know all elements involved with the party. Minimum installation fee is $75.
- Breakdown (also known as strike)/Pickup fee occurs when we have to return to the venue to breakdown and retrieve our equipment. Client is to make sure that all personal items are cleared away prior to our arrival and the balloon crew is provided timely access to the event area for breakdown. Should any equipment and/or materials not be available to retrieve from the location, the Client will be fully responsible for the replacement costs of the missing equipment or material. Minimum retrieval fee is $50.
Design Change Fees. A design change fee will be applied to all changes made after the execution of the Contract. Fees may vary depending on the extent of the change.
Reschedule/Cancellations. If the client needs to reschedule or cancel a party for any reason please be reminded that the retainer is non-refundable. Once the retainer is received we immediately start planning and designing your event including reserving the time slot (meaning not taking on another client for that time slot), ordering supplies, etc. for that reason any monies collected is not refundable. We will be more than happy to apply credit to your next event up to one year on a date that works for both our calendars. There are no refunds for any order.
Inclement Weather. Please be prepared to move the party inside if severe weather conditions prohibit you from having the party outdoors. If the party has not started AND if time permits we will be happy to setup indoors. If you wish to reschedule or cancel please be reminded of the reschedule/cancellation guidelines above.
Outdoor Events. Sunshine, heat, wind, rain, and other atmospheric conditions dramatically affect balloons. For all outdoor events, balloon décor and certain décor elements CANNOT be guaranteed to withstand various weather conditions. All sales are final
Arrival Time. When booking a venue please keep in mind setup time and book accordingly. Setup time depends on the complexity of the design an may require more than an hour and a half. Once we have the details of the desired balloon decor setup time will be addressed prior to sending out the quote. For your safety and the safety of our staff, we offer contactless setup. Please do not come out or interfere while the balloon crew is setting up, once installation is complete we will notify you.
Liability for Damage. Consideration by ensuring that our property is treated gently and carefully is expected, the Client is financially liable for any damages incurred.
Photography/Video. Client acknowledges that photographs and video (if applicable) taken at the party may be used in advertisement (social media outlets, brochures, magazine ads, website and/or commercials); however, we make every effort to not use the direct likeness of the client, the guest of honor and/or attendees.
Safety Warning. DO NOT allow anyone to inhale helium from the filling equipment or from balloons. Inhaling helium gas directly from high pressure tank or inflated balloons can cause dizziness, drowsiness, loss of consciousness or other serious injury. Popping balloons can cause injury to the eyes. Chewing or swallowing deflated balloons is a choking hazard. Client is responsible for supervising all attendees, and preventing all misuse or abuse of helium, balloons, equipment and material related to the decor.
Our Responsibility. Star Party Balloons is not responsible for any accidents that may occur before, during or after your party. We are committed to making your experience with Star Party Balloons a positive one.
